偈云

居塵樂道且隨緣，
饑則飧兮困則眠。
家中有宝休尋覓，
對境無心莫問禪。

Kệ vân

Cư trần lạc đạo thả tuỳ duyên,
Cơ tắc san hề khốn tắc miên.
Gia trung hữu bảo hưu tầm mịch,
Đối cảnh vô tâm mạc vấn thiền.

As the verse goes

Live in the world, delight in the Way, go with the flow of fate.
Eat if hungry; sleep if tired.
Treasure stays at home, stop your search.
Face each scene with an empty mind – why ask about Zen?
